This is also an instructor-led training technique in which lectures are broken down into portions of video explaining training topics of the session and can also be used for discussions of case studies.

Story Telling:

Storytelling is the most cost-effective method of training techniques. They make the training sessions more personal because sometimes the trainer may present his own stories or stories of people the trainees may know. This method can be used for showing examples of doing things on the right and wrong ways along with outcomes of each example.

Advantages of Instructor-Led Training Technique:

  • It ensures that all the attendees are getting the same things at the same time.

  • These methods grab the trainee’s attention and effectively impose the information.

Disadvantages of Instructor-Led Training Technique:

  • Sometime the method may not be interactive.
  • Most of the successful training companies, let’s say have experienced trainers, but sometime the training sessions may not be presented with effective trainers. The disadvantage is that the courses depend upon the effectiveness of the trainer.
  • Training sessions and scheduling classrooms are difficult if trainees are from multiple locations.
