Instead of keep on highlighting the mistakes of the employee-manager should hold sessions with the team members individually. The focus of the sessions should be on constructive feedback, providing possible solutions to tackle the issues and also let them know that they can take help from him or her at any given point.

The sessions of leadership training have some elements in which managers are asked to give feedback to a fellow participant in the training. In this way, managers will know how they can improve their feedback format or other fallacies in their way of providing feedback.

Managers usually learn while working on the job but these training sessions will help to attain the new skills which are necessary for the proper job performance. Also, when the training sessions have specific topics, then the managers can even understand their shortcomings and ways to improve them.
